Residing in Hollywood, California, Jackson Church began writing and recording original music for his upcoming album since September of 2008.　His pop/rock sound is influenced by bands like Lifehouse, Kelly Clarkson, Blink 182, and Taylor Swift.
Raised on a Christmas tree farm in California’s Monterey Bay area, Jackson always had the eager to explore the world outside of his community of 7,000 people.　So he worked diligently to save up enough money and attended one of the most prestigious schools of music in the United States, Musician’s Institute. 　Having focused his studies in business, performance, songwriting, recording, and production, Jackson was quickly able to create an international online　presence with his music on sites such as Reverb　Nation, Facebook, Youtube, and StereoFame.　He soon caught the eye of many incｌuding up and coming music producer “Mynority,” whom he teamed up with in October of 2010.　 They have continued to collaborate together and pitch demos to major record labels such as Atlantic, Def Jam, Warner Bros, and Island.
While dedicating most of his time to his songwriting now, Jackson still plans on releasing his EP to international college radio stations, record labels, and film/television companies like MTV and VH1 for any available show placements.　　After the release of the music video for his debut single “Just You and Me,” he will pitch it to local television companies that help promote independent artists.
